Yearly inspection
The inspection should take place at a service center. The purpose of the inspection is to
confirm that the wheelchair works correctly, all its systems (electric, electronic, driving)
are fully operational. It also helps prevent possible complications resulting from the
failure of any of the aforementioned systems.
The review should include:
1. Checking the tires.
2. Checking the batteries and their connections.
3. Checking the operation of the control panel (electronic system).
4. Checking the frame.
5. Checking the condition of the upholstery.
Usage Notes
1. Protect the control panel from strong shocks and impacts.
2. Protect the cart from prolonged exposure to high and low temperatures and
moisture.
3. Keep the control panel and the steering handle clean.
4. Protect the wheelchair from direct contact with water.
5. Take care to keep the frame and upholstery clean. If dirty, wipe them with a soft, dry
cloth. Do not clean with any abrasive materials. Do not apply any cleaning agents
directly to the control panel, battery or electrical parts.
6. Oil the wheel axles once every three months.
7. Use only the batteries supplied with the wheelchair. If it becomes necessary to
replace them, report it to the distributor.
8. Charge the batteries regularly. Always make sure the charger is properly connected
to the outlet. Do not disconnect the charger by pulling the cord.
9. Check the operation of the control handle when the control panel is off. Check if
the control handle is damaged, whether it returns to the neutral position. Watch
the rubber that the control handle is covered with, make sure it is not damaged. If
any damage is noticed, do not repair it yourself, but contact a service center.
10. Check all cables. If you notice any damage (abrasion, tear), contact the service center.
11. Make sure the control panel is fixed properly.
12. Store the wheelchair in a dry place. Long exposure to moisture can lead to corrosion
of frame components and damage to the electronic system.
