Wheelchair operating training
Practical information concerning the usage
1. It is necessary to master well the use of the wheelchair and the execution of all
maneuvers to move safely. First, master the forward movement. Make sure that
the minimum speed is set.
2. Once you have mastered moving in a straight forward direction, you should try to
drive by circling the wheelchair in an S shape.
3. After that, you can start practicing driving backwards. Regardless of the programmed
forward speed, the wheelchair will always move slower backward.
Before usage
• Are the batteries fully charged? See the chapter “Batteries and charging”
• Have the manual drive disconnect clutch lever in the rear position. Never leave the
lever in the forward position if you do not intend to push the wheelchair manually.
WARNING!
The following operations may adversely affect the steering and stability
of the wheelchair:
• Keeping and walking an animal attached to a leash.
• Carrying passengers (including animals).
• Hanging an object on the controller.
• Towing or pushing by another vehicle.
