CLEANING
Cleaning of the outer surface of the generator should be carried out after
each use and before refilling engine oil and fuel. Do not use generator with
streaks of oil and fuel. It should be remembered that the dust that enters the
engine oil or fuel significantly reduces its life. Do not allow to become electric
generator dusty, because there is risk of failure.
CONNECTIONS AND HANDLING
The generation is equipped with a diesel internal combustion engine,
which makes a vibration during start-up and operation. Engine's vibration is
transmitted to the joints and fasteners products. Regularly check all bolts and
nuts and don't switch on the generator, if at least one bolt or nut is absent. In
addition, keep an eye on the state of the damper supports. Bearings, that are
out of order, can cause excessive vibration of the product.
ENGINE OIL
NOTE
Making the maintenance strictly according to the rules, you
increase the life of the product in several times.
WARNING
!
Check the damper bearing for wear or damage. Damaged
bearings should be replaced immediately.
WARNING
!
Engine oil should be changed after the first 25 hours of the
new engine's operation. Do not exceed the life of the oil.
Change the oil strictly by the rules.

OIL FILTER
ERS 4.6d and ERS 4.6dt generators have the oil filter, which cleans the oil.
Flushing and replacing the oil filter must be carried out strictly in the time
terms, which are specified in the table.
AIR FILTER
The engine can not operate because of the clogged air filter, as well as can
be the loss of its power, malfunction, and it extremely shortens the life of the
engine.

NOTE
!
The oil should be drained when it is hot, because in this way
the oil drains completely and flushes away contaminants and
impurities of the fuel.
NOTE
!
At first, drain the used oil, flush the engine crankcase by
wash oil, rinse or replace the oil filter and then fill it with new
engine oil.
WARNING
!
Never operate the product without the filters or if they are
damaged. Never switch on the generator with unlocked filter
cover!
