Click on the Properties button in the hardware properties window.

In the scanner settings tab, select ‘Exit from opposite side’ if you wish the scanned items to be passed
through the scanner and ejected from the opposite side.

In the Application Settings tab, click on Turn on AutoLaunch for Scanning to select/deselect this option.
