Important

and the attached GENERAL SAFETY
INSTRUCTIONS LEAFLET carefully before
using the machine. Make sure you have
understood them before operating the
machine for the first time.
Keep both sets of instructions for any
future queries.
1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
FOR THE TRIMMER USE
Carefully read the GENERAL SAFETY
INSTRUCTION LEAFLET enclosed with the
machine documents.
1. Supply voltage must be the same as that indicated
on the specifications plate.
2. Keep hands away from the cutting area. Hold firmly
the machine when working.
3. Use always Virutex original bits. Never use malformed
or broken bits.
4. Always use bits with the correct size of shank for the
chuck being used and adjust the velocity of the tool.
Unplug the machine from the electrical
outlet before carrying out any handling
operations.
5. The brake pivot R (Fig. 8) must be placed on the front
(not the edge) of the bit bearing.

3. STANDARD EQUIPMENT
Inside the box you will find the following items:

Trimmer FR156N fitted with:
• Round trimming head (V3) 5646365. Attached.
• Corner rounding bit 3 with bearing HM 1140106.
• A/f key: 11 mm for the motor shaft.
• A/f key: 19 mm for the chuck collet.
• Head bases with a pitch diameter of 26 and 30.
Model FR256N Set
Trimmer FR156N fitted with:
• Trimming head CA56U 5600060. Attached.
• Corner trimming accessory 5646343.
• Round trimming head (V3) 5646365.

4. GENERAL DESCRIPTION
OF THE FR156N TRIMMER
The main function of the machine is the finishing of PVC,
melamine and wooden edges. These may be straight and
angled or curved, depending on the bit used. Shaped
finishes can also be obtained using different VIRUTEX bits
with bearings. The machine is fitted with a dust collector
connection for attaching our AS182K and AS282K dust
collectors or any other industrial dust collector, using
the standard dust collector attachment (Ref. 6446073).
The dust collector connection incorporates a sprung
brake pivot R (Fig. 8), whose purpose is to slow down
the outer bearing ring, preventing it turning with the
bit and possibly damaging the surface of the panel when
placing the trimmer in the working position.
5. ADJUSTMENTS
Unplug the machine from the electrical
outlet before making any adjustments.
To adjust the bit outlet, loosen knob B on the head and
turn the machine as appropriate up or down until the
desired bit outlet is achieved. Fasten knob B in place
again (Fig. 3).
6. STARTING UP THE MACHINE
To start the machine, press button E forward (Fig. 1) to
the on position. To stop the machine, simply press the
back of the switch and it will return to the off position.
