4) LOADING THE POWER PACK
Items required:
-Power pack
-Fit Kit
End cap x 1
Green bag
wood screws x 12
Over-run microswitch x 1
Limit switch x 1
Busbar pickup loading tool
Tools required:
-Toggle switch
-Short-circuiting connection bridges (shorting links)
4.1-
Carry the power pack box to the top of the stairs.
4.2-
Unpack the power pack from its box carefully.
4.3-
Move the track away from the stringer slightly,
around 150mm, to give you more room to work.
4.4-
Remove the blanking plates from the side of the
power pack that will be facing the stairs as shown in
(Fig. 21).
4.5-
Connect the micro switches to the shorting links
as shown in (Fig. 21/22).
4.6-
Connect the control sheath as shown in (Fig. 26
/ 27).
4.7-
Ensure that the busbar pickup loading tool is
correctly positioned as shown in (Fig. 23/24/25). This
will remove itself when the power pack is driven on to
the track.
4.8-
Carefully slide the power pack onto the track until
the drive pinion meets the beginning of the rack as
shown in (Fig. 26).
4.9-
Turn the power pack on from the main switch on
the lower safety edge (Fig. 27).
