For drilling/impact drilling the selector switch needs to be set. Please make sure that it is only
set when the power tool is turned off.
The following table shows which position should be used:

Drilling tile
Set the drilling/impact drilling selector switch on the Drill position and drill the hole.
Set the drilling/impact drilling selector switch on the position as soon as the drill has
penetrated the tile.
Screwing in/loosening screws
Set the drilling/impact drilling selector switch to the position (drilling) .
Choose the desired rotation direction.
Use a low rotation speed.
Setting the rotation speed
By pressing the on/off switch, you can set the rotation speed during idle operation.
The optimal rotation speed depends on the work piece, the operation mode, and the inserted
drill.
A light pressure on the on/off switch means a low rotation speed (intended for small/short
screws and soft working materials).
A greater pressure on the on/off switch means a higher rotation speed (intended for large/long
screws and hard working materials).
Selecting the rotation direction
Do not set the left/right rotation switch during operation.
The rotation direction is always according to the switch position.
Switch position R: right-rotation/forward/clockwise. To drill and to screw in screws, push the
right/left rotationswitch to the left until the stop.
Switch position L: left-rotation/backward/counter-clockwise. To loosen or pull out screws
and nuts, push the right/left rotation switch to the right until the stop.
