and life span, charge them in the storage - when the open circuit voltage drops to
12 Volts.
Note: To prevent damage due to freezing, the battery should be fully charged
before winter storage.
a) Check battery voltage with digital voltmeter. Locate the battery voltage reading
in the table (see Table 7.1.1) and charge the battery for a recommended time
interval - to reach a full 12.6 Volts charge or more.
IMPORTANT: Make sure that the negative and positive battery cable are properly
connected and that the charger used to charge the battery has a 16 Volt and 7
Ampere output or less - in order to avoid damaging the battery.
