Motorized Damper
To access the motorized damper:
1.
Remove ice bin assembly and ice maker,
(see ice bin assembly section, page 48 and ice
maker section, page 49).
2.
Remove wiring to motorized damper and to
solenoid.
3. Remove wiring harness and clip from housing.
4.
From opposite end, press solenoid tabs with a
screwdriver blade,
5. Slide motorized damper forward to remove.
6. Repair or replace motorized damper.
7. Reverse procedure to reinstall.
WARNING
To avoid risk of electrical shock, personal injury, or death, disconnect electrical power to unit using power
switch before servicing. Wires removed during disassembly must be replaced on proper terminals to insure
correct earth ground and polarization. After servicing, reconnect power using power switch.
