3. Before starting operation
• Ensure that the use, inspection and maintenance of hydraulic tools always comply with relevant local
and national regulations.
• Oil the tool; see the section on maintenance in these operating instructions.
• Before every use, the jack must be inspected for oil leakages and/or damage and must not be used if
leakages or damage is detected.
Bleeding air from the hydraulic cylinder:
• Pump the jack several times while the valve screw is open to distribute the oil.
• To bleed the cylinder, close the valve, pump the jack until it is completely up, open the oil filling screw,
then open the valve and push the cylinder back.
