2. Dry the surfaces carefully.
3. Electrical connections
The symbol marked on the cabinet (a lightning bolt inside a triangle) indicates that
there are components and wires under the cover containing live voltage. Only
personnel qualified to install and service electrical equipment are permitted access
to areas that contain live voltage.
NOTE
Check the voltage and size of the fuse required on the rating plate attached to the cabinet. The
supply socket must be earthed and protected by a 10 A slow fuse. No other appliances may be
connected to the same fuse.
All electrical connections must be carried out by approved and qualified personnel
and comply with all IEE and local regulations, failure to do this could result in
personal or fatal injury.
NOTE
4. Operation
The cooling is achieved by a fan evaporator system. The evaporator is located at the bottom of
the cabinet's tray. The fans circulate the cooled air through the grid behind the bottom shelf up
to the top of the cabinet. The cooled air is evenly distributed over all shelves in the cabinet towards
the front glass cover. Replacement air is sucked through the front grid at the bottom of the cabinet.
The cabinet is equipped with a NRC-100 controller, which turns off the cabinet's lights or turns
on the red signal light on the controller's panel in case of a pressure rise caused, for example,
by dirt in the condenser. For the location of the controller's signal light on Saga, see
figure 5 on
the inside cover
; for the location of the light on Aida, see
figure 9
.
See
figure 5 on the inside cover
for the location of the cabinet's light switch (Saga), and
figure 9
(Aida).
