Checking the flue gas damper and flue gas header
Check the flue gas damper for damage and leaks. In
twin and multi boiler systems, every flue gas damper
needs to be checked.

Check gaskets on the flue gas damper and flue
gas header for leaks. If required, replace the gas-
kets.
2.
Check for leaks in the flue gas damper with the flue
gas damper closed:
Leak tightness requirement V

Note
In full load operation, the gaskets can be checked with
an inspection mirror. Traces of condensate on the out-
side of the flue system also indicate a leak.
