2.3.1 Commercial and Residential
ProPress systems are approved for numerous applications in commercial
and residential markets including potable water. “Zero Lead” identifies
products meeting the lead-free requirements of NSF 61 through testing
under NSF/ANSI 372 (0.25% or less maximum weighted average lead
content).
2.3.2 Industrial and Plant Operations
ProPress systems are also suitable for use in industrial and plant
processes. Primary areas of application include:

2.3.3 Fire Protection Systems
The system components may be installed in NFPA 13, 13R, and 13D
fire sprinkler systems. They are certified for use in “wet” and “dry” fire
protection systems in accordance with UL and FM certifications:

UL/ANSI 213: Standard for Rubber Gasketed Fittings for Fire-
Protection Services.
■
ULC ORD-C213: Canadian Standard for Rubber Gasketed Fittings for
Fire-Protection Services.
■
FM Class 1920: Pipe Couplings and Fittings for Aboveground Fire
Protection Systems.
