ISDN PRI settings
Record Outgoing Calls
Outgoing calls are normally recorded, but it can be disabled with this
setting. Incoming calls are always recorded.
Record Local Side only
An ISDN line has the possibility to separate the audio of the local and
remote side of a call. The V-Tap PRI can optionally store the local
speaker only.
Stereo Recording (else Mono)
The V-Tap PRI can store both the local and remote side of a call in a
stereo WAV file, each side having its own channel. The only
drawback is, that the files will be twice as big, because 16000 bytes
per second must be stored then, instead of 8000 bytes per second for
the Mono/Mixed mode.
Reversed D-channel Operation
It might be that the Rx and Tx wires in the cable are reversed. In that
case, the V-Tap PRI will still record all calls correctly, except that
inbound and outbound are presented wrong.
This is only possible when the recorder is operating in Sniff mode. In
Pass-Through mode the wiring in the cables must be right.
In other words, when the local and remote phone numbers are
reversed in the database software, this parameter can be enabled.
