Installation and configuration of the optional DTRP card
The optional DTRP card allows to upgrade the DTRX1 receiver with the following functions:
•
PRESET function: to store up to 14 positions of the positionig device and the lens
•
SCAN function: to set the positioning device to predetermined positions
•
PATROL function: to allow the positioning device to move automatically among different PRESET positions
•
4 alarm contacts for the automatic positioning of the positioning device
To install the DTRP card proceed according to the following installation instructions:
•
power down the DTRX1 receiver
•
install the optional DTRP card into
the
J3 / J4 connectors
•
insert the plastic spacers into the fastening holes of the DTRP card and tighten them
The following parameters must be set during the configuration phase of the DTRP card :
•
Use of the alarm contacts
•
Setup of the receiver for the PRESET function
•
Functioning of AUX4
The length of the connecting cable between the DTRP card and the Pan & Tilt must not be longer than 5
metres.
Use of the alarm contacts
The DTRP card is fitted with 4 alarm contacts; they are associated with the first four preset positions; as soon as the
alarm is activated, the positioning device and the lens adopt the corresponding preset position; the last alarm activated
takes always priority. The DTRX1 can also receive an alarm command even through the DCS2 control keyboard
(which in turn receives it from the SW164OSM matrix); in such case the positioning device and the lens move
themselves into the preset position N

In order to use the alarm contacts it is necessary to set the DIP3 according to the following instructions:
•
switch 2 of DIP3 set to the ON position:
the alarm contacts are activated
•
switch 2 of DIP3 set to the OFF position:
the alarm contacts are deactivated
•
switch 3 of DIP3 set to the ON position:
the alarm contacts are normally closed
•
switch 3 of DIP3 set to the OFF position:
the alarm contacts are normally open
