Rear tines (rakes)
The FMM mower has massive adjustable rear tines that can be inserted into the mower housing.
The tines will keep branches, undergrowth, and grass inside the mower until they are shredded to
a size small enough to fit in between the gaps of the tines.
You can remove the tines for regular mowing. When mowing very high grass, you have the option
to open the hinged rear gate of the housing to prevent congestion.
◼
Raise and support the mower with
suitable blocks beside the skids.
◼
Use the R-shaped cotter pins to secure
all rear tines at the desired height.

Driving belts tension check and adjustment
7.3.1
Drive belts tension check:
It is essential for both optimal machine
performance and long-lasting belt lifetime
that the belts are correctly tensioned at all
times.
◼
After an initial first 2 hours of work,
check belt tension.
◼
The belt tension is correct when a
force of 10 kg exerted on one belt at
the mid-point between the upper and
lower pulleys deviates the belts by 15
mm.
◼
Check the tightening of all taper lock
Allen bolts in the middle of the pulleys.
If the belts require tensioning, follow the
procedure stated below.
