7. Video Trigger Operation Mode
Recording begins when a video trigger signal is raised by a VEXT (clock) input signal in time-lapse VCR
operation mode. Performance in this mode is better at capturing the picture than operation without this signal
because there is less error rate.
To use the trigger operation mode,
TRIG OUT
must be set to
LOW
and
REC MODE
must be set to
TIME
LAPSE
. This setting does not recognize Video Loss as an alarm condition.

When an alarm occurs, this signals the VCR to record.
