Setting up work

50

Swath formers

Fitting the rear swath 

former

Fit the rear swath former on the left rotor.

Screw the adjustable angle bracket to the swath former carrier.

Fit the swath former carrier with the adjustable angle bracket to the 
telescopic tube.

Tighten the clamping lever in the centre position.

Fit the rear swath former to the telescopic tube.

Set the adjusting screw on the swath former carrier so that the 
telescopic tube can be slid into the carrier tube without jamming. 

Slide in the telescopic tube to the desired length and fix it in place 
with the T-bolt.

For information on adjusting the swath former, see chapter 
“Adjusting the swath former” in the operating instructions.
