2. Restart OBS.
3. Restart computer, open OBS, and see if video is displaying.
PROBLEM
Video of left and right eye are not synchronized or freezing (lost frames)
SOLUTION
1. Check to see if the computer being used with the goggles
meets the minimum hardware requirements.
a. Processor – i5 or better with 2.0 ghz or higher
b. Memory (RAM) – 8GB or more
c. Dedicated Video Card – Not necessary, but preferred
2. If the computer does not meet the minimum hardware requirements,
please either update that computer to meet the requirements or
select a different computer to use with the goggles. If your computer
meets the requirements, proceed to following steps.
3. Close any programs other than OBS to reduce the drain on the system’s resources.
4. Restart your computer to clear any issues that may have resulted in system
resources being drained even after all programs other than OBS are closed.
5. If you have a dedicated video card, there is a way in settings
of OBS to transition the encoder from software to hardware,
which may eliminate asynchronous or freezing video.
