4. Using the strap adjuster, secure
the strap comfortably but firmly
enough to keep goggles in place
over eyes.
5. To prevent slippage, ensure the
silicone strap lies flat on the back
of the patient’s head and that the
split strap opening is separated.
Note:
Be sure to communicate with the patient to ensure comfort and
appropriate level of tightening of the strap, such that it is secure but
that the pressure from the goggles and strap on the patient’s head
is not considered significantly uncomfortable to the patient.
