Making / receiving calls
You can make or receive a call simply following the procedure below.
To make a call:
1. Make sure that your Vertu phone is in a strong signal area and the battery
is charged fully enough. (Refer to "Status indicators" on page 19)
2. From the Home screen, press the Number keys (page 18) to enter a
phone number.
3. Press the [Send] key (page 18) to begin your call.
To receive a call:
When you receive an incoming call, a call message appears on the display,
and a ringing tone is played when an incoming call alert has been enabled.
Your Vertu phone will also vibrate if you have set a vibrating alert.
1. When you have a call, select
Silence
(right [Selection] key) to stop the
ringing tone first.
2. To answer the call, either press the [Send] key (page 18) or press the
[Joystick] key (Centre) when you see
Answer
on the screen.
Tip:
If the called party is the one who has already been registered in
Contacts, you can smoothly start your call just by selecting that person
from the Contacts list and then pressing the [Send] key. If you have not
changed the default configuration, you can launch the Contacts list by
just giving a short press on the [Joystick] key (Down) from the Home
screen.
Or you can also use the All calls log. The log list can be displayed just
by pressing the [Send] key from the Home screen, or if you have not
changed the default configuration, by pressing the [Joystick] key (Left).
