DETAILED SAFETY REGULATIONS
•
Use only bits with appropriate shank diameter and bits suitable for the
power tool rotational speed.
•
Some types of wood-like materials may produce dust during
processing, use of dust mask and dust extraction systems is
recommended.
•
Do not use the router in environment with explosive vapours, gases
and in proximity of explosive materials.
•
Keep working tools clean. Tools should be sharp.
•
Do not use damaged cutters.
•
Ensure all locking clamps are tightened.
•
Keep collet sleeve and nut clean.
•
Use working tool suitable for the planned task.
•
Never attach working tools other than recommended by the
manufacturer.
•
When changing cutter ensure its shank is held by at least 20 mm of
its length.
•
Do not touch the working tool when the work is finished. It may be
hot.
•
Prior to cutting ensure that there is enough free space under
processed material to prevent contact of cutter and other objects.
•
Check surface of the working area. Ensure there are no unwanted
objects (nails, screws etc.).
•
After switching the router on, wait until it reaches its rated speed. If
you hear suspicious noise coming from the router, stop the tool and
find the cause.
•
Hold the router by both handles during operation.
•
Do not overload the router by applying too great pressure. Weight of
the tool is enough for processing.
•
Do not leave the router unattended, when switched on.
•
When not in use, the router should always be disconnected from
power supply.
•
When not in use, the router should be stored in dry place and beyond
reach of children.
•
Always disconnect the router from power supply prior to commencing
any activity related to its adjustment, maintenance or operation.
•
Check the ventilation holes to always be unobstructed.
•
Use only original parts and accessories.
•
When cleaning the router do not use any solvent that might damage
plastic parts.

The design is assumed to be safe, protection measures and
additional safety systems are used, nevertheless there is always a
small risk of operational injuries.
CONSTRUCTION AND USE
Router is a hand-held power tool with double-insulated body. It is driven
by a single-phase commutator motor. Power tools of this type are widely
used for cutting in wood and wood-like materials. Range of use covers
woodworking, repair and building works and any work from the scope
of individual, amateur activities (tinkering).
Use the power tool according to the manufacturer’s instructions
only.
