5 Restoring the original unique factory-assigned code
ATTENTION!
The following steps are only necessary if extending or learning
procedures have been carried out by mistake.
Note:
If the garage does not have a separate access door, then any alterations
or extensions made to the programming must take place inside the
garage. When programming and extending the remote control make
sure that neither persons nor objects are located within the garage
door's range of travel.
The code location of every push-to-transmit button of the radio-controlled
internal push-button unit can be re-assigned with the original factory code or
also another code.
Restoring the original code
1. Open the housing - a small button
O
c is accessible on the circuit board
(see figure 6).
2. Carefully press button
O
c with a blunt implement and keep it pressed.
Note:
Do not use any sharp implements. Applying too much pressure to the
button will destroy it.
3. Press the circuit board button of the press-to-transmit button you want to
code and keep it pressed. The LED of the radio-controlled internal push-
button unit flashes slowly for a maximum of 4 seconds.
4. If small button
O
c is pressed and held until the end of the slow-flashing
phase, the original factory code is re-assigned to the button and the LED
starts to flash more rapidly.
