4 Extending existing remote controls with the FIT2 radio-
controlled internal push-button unit (figure 5)
Note:
If the garage does not have a separate access door, then any
alterations or extensions made to the programming must take place
inside the garage. When programming and extending the remote
control make sure that neither persons nor objects are located within
the garage door's range of travel.
1. Hold the code-transferring hand transmitter (teaching transmitter)

2. Press the required button on the hand transmitter and keep it pressed.
The LED on the hand transmitter now glows constantly.
3. Immediately afterwards press the button you wish to teach on the
radio-controlled internal push-button unit and keep it pressed. The LED
on the radio-controlled internal push-button unit flashes slowly during
the first 4 seconds and then starts to flash more rapidly once the
learning process has been completed.
4. You may now release the buttons on the hand transmitter and the
radio-controlled internal push-button unit.
Check the function! In the case of malfunction, repeat steps 1 - 4.
CAUTION!
When actuating the hand transmitter during the learning
procedure, movement of the garage door can be triggered
if a receiver programmed for it is located nearby!
Note:
If during the slow-flashing phase the button on the radio-controlled
internal push-button unit is released, the learning procedure is aborted.
