The following power-up conditions on the system status LED are abnormal:
Using the Command Line Interface
You may need to access the command line interface (CLI) of an edge device to perform
troubleshooting tasks, typically with the assistance of a Verint customer service specialist.
The CLI is hierarchically organized, with menus, sub-menus, and individual options
representing configuration parameters.
The available troubleshooting tasks include configuring quality of service (QoS).
Flashing green (3 sec.
intervals) The firmware has started, but the device is not connected to
the network.
Flashing green (1 sec.
intervals) The firmware has started, the device is connected to the
network, but no video data is transmitted.
Flashing green (0.2 sec.
intervals) The firmware has started, the device is connected to the
network, and video data is transmitted.
Flashing green-red (1 sec.
intervals) The device is undergoing a firmware update or is in backup
mode.
Flashing red (0.1 sec.
intervals) The device is being identified.
Condition Indication
LED not lit when the LAN
and Status LED State
parameter is On (see
page 53) Check the power supply and cabling. If power is available and
the LED stays off, call customer service for assistance.
Steady red LED persisting
more than 10 seconds There is an internal error that prevents the device from
starting normally. Power down the device, wait 30 seconds,
then power it up. If the condition persists, call customer
service.
