Performing the Power Supply
Connection
All camera models use either 12V DC or PoE for power. On the S2700e-VR-XT and
S2700eP-VR-XT, the heater needs a 24V AC source; it is recommended to power the heater
after the camera.
Verint offers a universal 12V DC power supply as part of your package. For any other power
supply, refer to the manufacturer documentation for the proper wiring scheme.
Note: Insert the silica gel just before putting back the dome cover. The gel loses its
effect if it is exposed to the air for a lengthy period of time.
During reconnection or reinstallation, replace the gel with a new packet.
Tip: Ensure that the fall prevention wire is not caught outside of the camera.
