3.15. Installing the Extraction

Handpiece

Note

Make sure that all handpiece components are
properly cleaned and sterilized, as described in
Chapter 7, before installing/using them.

Note

The single-use tubing is supplied sterile. After
each treatment, the tubing must be discarded as
hazardous medical waste.

Warning

The single-use punches are supplied non-sterile and must be
properly sterilized, as described in Chapter 7, before the
treatment.

Each punch must be discarded in a hazardous sharps disposal
container after use.
