4.12. Incision Handpiece

The incision handpiece is used during the incision phase of the
treatment and enables the user to control the depth of the incision,
which is carried out with a blade or a needle.
The handpiece is connected to the system via its cable, and using
its sensor counts the number of incisions, which is displayed on the
screen.
Different kinds of blades or needles can be used to create the
incisions (slits – small incisions made to receive the follicular units
in the recipient site).
The length of the blade or needle can be adjusted, depending on the
length of the follicular unit, by turning the handpiece head.
