To set a single-ended balanced zone, connect a 5.6Kohm resistor (green, blue, red) in series with the
input (see CASE B).
3. CONFIGURATION AND STARTUP BY APP
1. Supply CTH-18 with the cover open and connect the battery to its faston terminals. In this
way, the MAINTENANCE MODE (10hours) and the NUMERS UNLOCK (10hours) switch on.
NOTE: MAINTENANCE MODE is useful during the installation and maintenance phase, as it
reduces the acoustic power and limits the duration of the possible alarm to only 5 seconds.
NUMBERS UNLOCK allows to manage and set CTH-18 by any telephone number, whereas it
normally reads only managing controls sent from registered telephone numbers, for which
the option to send managinig control is allowed.
2. Supply CTH-18 220V;
3. The green LED on board flashes to notify GSM signal search. Once the GSM signal is catched, the
green LED lights steady;
4. Configure the APP on the mobile (see next section) and open it in installer mode. Select the system
to manage or add a new one (see TAB.1);
5. Verify the correct operation of the GSM and signal power by sending GSM STATUS command;
6. Proceed with the connection of wireless devices, referring to ZONES and REMOTE CONTROLS
section respectively;
7. Send STATUS OF ZONES (see CONTROL TOOLS section) to check for zones status and wireless
signal power. In case the signal power is less than 35%, it is recommended to modify the system.
Subsequent modifications to the installation location (e.g. new building modifications) may
affect the devices radio range;
8. Set the options of zones, telephones and CTH-18, referring to ZONES, TELEPHONE and SOUNDER
OPTIONS.
ATTENTION:
BY SENDING TELEPHONE NUMBERS TO CTH-18, TELEPHONE NUMBERS ARE
AUTOMATICALLY ACTIVATED. TO AVOID NOTIFICATIONS DURING INSTALLATION PHASE, IT IS
RECOMMENDED TO KEY IN TELEPHONE NUMBERS IN THE APP, WITHOUT SENDING THEM TO THE
ALARM CONTROL PNALE UNTIL CONFIGURATION OR TESTS ARE DONE;
