G. Panic Alarm
The transmitter can be used as a panic switch to trigger the alarm from a distance in case of emergency. Hold button
I for longer than 3 sec.: the alarm is triggered and the siren starts to wail. Simply press the transmitter button again to
deactivate the panic alarm.
H. Triggering the alarm
When the alarm has been armed for 5 seconds: open a door, the boot or the bonnet, smack the chassis or the
windshield, jack the vehicle up or tow it. The siren and the parking lights will come on for 30 seconds. The alarm then
returns to the armed mode and will be triggered again if the situation(s) described above persist(s).
I. Switch to deactivate the alarm
The service switch at the back of the central unit enables the owner of the vehicle to suspend all alarm functions
when the car is left on a supervised parking lot or when it is in service.
1. Insert the key in the service switch and put the switch in the ON position. The alarm and the transmitter no
longer work.
2. Restoring normal operation: insert the key in the service switch and put the switch in the OFF position.
J. Replacing the battery in the transmitter
If the range of your transmitter appears to diminish you may have to replace the battery.
1. Loosen the screw at the back of the transmitter and remove the top plate with a Philips screwdriver.
2. Remove the old battery.
3. Insert a new 12V battery (type G23GA) while respecting the polarity indications in the battery compartment.
4. Be careful when replacing the top plate so as not to damage any parts.
5. Tighten the screw at the back of the transmitter.
