D. Installing the 9V backup battery
Open the battery compartment of the siren and insert a 9V alkaline battery. Connect the battery with the battery clip
and connect the other side with the alarm system. The backup battery is NOT included.
E. Stickers
Apply the stickers to the inside of your vehicle's window to deter thieves. Most thieves will leave your car alone when
they see the stickers.
Wiring
Keep the wiring away from moving engine parts, exhaust pipes and high tension cable. Tape wires that pass through
holes in the bodywork to prevent fraying. Watch out for sharp edges that may damage wires and cause short-circuit.
A. Main Wiring
1. Red wire – System power (+12V constant)
The red wire supplies the system with power. Connect this wire with a +12V source from the fuse block.
ATTENTION : If you plan to program the alarm with current sensing capability, this connection must be made at
the per12V live point of the fuse that controls the interior dome light of the vehicle as it is
this connection that detects voltage drop.
2. Black wire – System ground
This is the main ground connection of the alarm module. Make this connection to a solid section of the vehicle frame.
Do not connect this wire to any existing ground wires supplied by the factory wire loom. Make the connection directly
to the frame of the vehicle.
3 & 4. Yellow wire – Ignition switch power
Find the wire coming from the ignition key that supplies the ignition coils. Cut the wire in half and try to start the
vehicle. If you have found the correct wire, the engine will crank over but won't start. When you have found the
correct wire:
1) Connect one yellow wire with the cut half of the ignition wire.
2) Connect the second yellow wire with the other half of the ignition wire.
5. Black / white wire – LED indicator connection
This is the special output wire for the connection of the alarm's LED status indicator supplied with this alarm system.
Connect the black/white wire with the black wire from the LED indicator. Connect the red wire from the LED indicator
to a co12V source.
6. Orange wire – Negative power output 500mA
This wire becomes grounded when the alarm is armed. The current capacity of this wire is 500mA. It can be
connected to optional modules such as sunroof control, optional starter interruption, etc.
7. Red/white wire – Parking light power
This is the COM point of the parking lights.
