- Press or to move the cursor to the left or to the right.
- Move the cursor to the right of a character and press "
EDIT/DELETE
" in order to delete that
character.
- Press
"
DISPLAY/PREVIEW
" to read the entire message.
7. Press "
OFF/END
" when the message has been entered. The message board will read "
SAVE
IT "Y" OR "N"?
.
Press
Y
to save the message. The message will now continuously scroll across the display.
Press
N
to leave the edit mode. The original message will now continuously scroll across the
screen.
The display will read "
WARNING! THE MESSAGE IS EMPTY
" if a message does not contain at
least one character. In this case, you should follow the procedure outlined below in "
9. Editing a
Stored Message
" (see below).
Note :
The device will be deactivated if the AC power source is cut while you are entering a
message. Read "
Power Failures
" under heading "
3. Connecting the Device to a
Suitable Power Source
" (p. 3).
9. Editing a Stored Message
1. Activate the message board and wait for it to finish the self-test.
2. Press "
EDIT/DELETE
". The display reads "
EDIT MODE : SELECT MESSAGE #
".
