6.  Deactivating the Message Board

 

 
 
Place the "

ON/OFF

" slide switch in the "

OFF

"-position to deactivate the message board. 

 
 

7.  Activating/Deactivating the Display

 

 
 
It is possible to deactivate the display without deactivating the message board itself. This is a 
useful option in each of the following cases : 
 

  You may want the device to stop displaying messages temporarily. The device is able to 

resume its display of messages without having to perform the self-test again. 

 

  The message board will no longer display messages if the display is deactivated. The alarm 

message, however, will still appear if the alarm system is triggered by an intruder. Read 
"
