REAR WHEEL DISASSEMBLING
BEFORE ANY OPERATION, ENSURE YOUR VECTOR IS TURNED OFF.
Remove the side panels from the bike.
Turn off the main switch.
Remove the 4 bolts that hold the battery from the controller side.
Remove the battery from the frame. Isolate the wires on a battery
immediately
after disconnecting
from the bike.
Disconnect the 3 phase wire from the motor and 9 pin connector from the motor.
Remove the rear brake adaptor with the brake caliper from the frame.
Unscrew the nuts from the motor axle.
Unscrew the clamping bolts from both sides of the axle.
Remove the chain from the freewheel.
Cut the
zip ties that hold
the motor cable to the frame.
Pull the motor wire outside from the frame.
Put the bike on a stable soft support so the rear wheel will be in the air.
Start hitting the swingarm legs on the frame with a rubber hammer. Aim for a lower
surface
near the
dropouts.
The frame will go up and the motor will fall down from the dropouts.
Now the motor is free and you can change the tube and tire.

IMPORTANT! VERIFY THAT THE TORQUE ON THE WHEEL AXLE NUT IS 85 NM WHEN YOU
MOUNT IT BACK.

DO NOT REMOVE THE WHEEL IMMEDIATELY AFTER A JOURNEY: THE ENGINE GETS HOT AND
YOU COULD GET BURNT.
