Usage of Battery and Charger
It is forbidden to charge the battery at temperatures below 1
C, otherwise, the battery will be
damaged. Please charge the battery after its temperature recovers.
1.
The vehicle has a high-performance and high-rate lithium battery. The safety voltage is 72V.
The working temperature range is from -10
C to 35
C. And at the temperature range from 10
C to
30
C, the battery will have its best performance. If the temperature is too cold or hot, it will affect the
lithium battery's performance and lifetime.
It’s
prohibited
to use the vehicle in such а situation which
has а temperature out of the working temperature range. It’s
prohibited to charge the battery at a
temperature below 1
С.
2.
When the temperature is too low, the battery's performance will be
affected. А
small
reduction in distance is normal. And the battery's performance will be automatically recovered with
the temperature's recovery.
3.
The battery has a perfect self-protecting function; it will protect the battery from damage that
is caused by overcharge or over-discharge. However, over-discharge for a long period will affect the
battery's performance. Please charge the battery immediately when the battery's power is low.
4.
The lithium battery on the vehicle has no memory effect, and it can be charged frequently.
You can charge the lithium battery at any time; frequent battery charge can keep the lithium battery
in а good condition.
5.
If the bike is not ridden regularly, the battery should be charged every 3 weeks to reach 80%
(80V) quantity of electricity, with the Key switch set to OFF. Otherwise, the lithium battery will lose its
activity, and the battery's performance will be affected.
6.
Never ride bike with battery below 10% (65V). If the power cuts out during riding, do not
continue to ride the bike before you charge it. If you continue riding your bike the battery will cut out
and the charger will no longer be able to charge the battery. In this case you will need the special
charger to be able to charge the battery with turned off BMS, which might cause you additional
expense.
