Check whether “Audible information” has been
activated in the ”Settings” menu.
Check whether “Volume” in the “Settings” menu is
set to minimum.
If no external speaker is connected:
Check the volume setting of the loudspeaker in the
monitor.
Some of the symbols
shown in the
manual are not
displayed in the
status line.
Activate the respective information in the “Screen
settings” menu under “Setting” for “Status line
right” and “Status line left”.
Colour of the
satellite symbol on
the GPS logo is
constantly red.
No satellite signal reception.
Ensure that the GPS antenna is not obscured by any
objects.
Navigation system
automatically ejects
the CD.
The CD may be dirty: Clean the CD with a special
CD cleaning fluid.
Current time in the
status line is
incorrect.
Set the correct time zone in the “Settings” menu,
function “Date/time”.
Addresses cannot be
stored in the address
book
Address book full: Delete one or more entries from
the address book that are no longer required.
Guidance is not
accurate.
An accuracy of 50m falls within the specified
tolerance limits: Please contact an authorised dealer
if greater inaccuracies repeatedly occur.
