Retrieving an entry from the phone book
1. Select the "Search entry" function in the phone book menu.
A virtual keyboard appears in the display.
The desired call number can be retrieved by:
• entering the corresponding name via the keyboard.
If the first characters entered clearly belong to a particular entry, the complete entry is
displayed above the keyboard. To accept the call number in the phone menu, press the
OK button.
• by pressing the "List" button on the keyboard, and then selecting the phone book en-
try from the list displayed.
A quick-dial number is indicated in front of the name in the list. To quick-dial the de-
sired call number, it is sufficient to enter this quick-dial number in the "Phone" menu.
Deleting an entry
1. Select the "Delete entry" option in the "Phone book" menu.
2. Select/search for the entry to be deleted as described in "Retrieving an entry from the
phone book".
After selecting the desired entry, a safety prompt is displayed in order to prevent the
inadvertent deletion of an entry.
3. Select the "Delete" option in order to remove the entry from the phone book.
New entry
In order to store a new entry in the phone book:
1. Enter the desired call number in the "Phone" menu or select it from the call list.
2. Press the "Phone book" button
3. Select the "Store entry" option in the phone book menu function.
The keyboard for entering the corresponding name is displayed on the screen.
4. After entering the name, press the "OK" button.
The entry is now stored in the phone book.

In the case of insufficient SIM card memory, an appropriate error message is displayed.
To store a new entry, first delete another entry if necessary.
Quick-dial numbers are allocated automatically (not editable).
