7.4 Steps to perform before installing the unibody (
with EPP back
)
If your unibody
does
have an EPP back follow the next steps.
If your unibody
doesn’t
have an EPP back and you have followed the steps of paragraph 7.3,
then skip this paragraph and continue with chapter 8 (page 20).
7.4.1 Drill the round holes
NOTICE
First drill the lower hole, then drill the upper hole.
Two round holes
(Ø 160 mm)
need to be drilled in the outer wall of the building. The
lowest hole needs to have a slope of 2 degrees.
To draw the round holes do the following:
1.
Fold the template to a tray and tape the corners. Use removable tape in the corners.
2. Place the template in the rectangular hole, against the outer wall.
Make sure “UP” is visible and is pointing upwards.
3. Mark the centres of the round holes.
NOTICE
Good location of the hole centres and accurate drilling is important!
The holes are 16.25 mm OFF centre to the right.
Use a pencil and a ruler to make a cross. The cross determines the centre.
4. Remove the template.
