● Remove the black negative (−)
cable from the 12 V vehicle
battery and attach a trickle
charger to the vehicle battery
terminals or keep the 12 V
vehicle battery cables connected
and trickle charge from the
positive (+) and negative (−)
terminals in the engine
compartment.
● Every three months, check the
battery's state of charge. If the
state of charge is below 30
percent, recharge the battery to
30 percent.
Putting back into operation (non-
electric vehicle)
When the vehicle is to be put back into
operation:
● Deactivate the battery standby
mode.
● Check tyre pressure.
● Fill up the washer fluid reservoir.
● Check the engine oil level.
● Check the coolant level.
● Fit the number plates if
necessary.
Putting back into operation
(electric vehicle)
When the vehicle is to be put back into
operation:
● Connect the clamp to the
negative terminal of the 12 V
vehicle battery.
● Check tyre pressure.
● Fill up the washer fluid reservoir.
● Check the coolant level.
● Fit the number plate if necessary.
Battery standby mode
In order to protect the 12 V vehicle
battery, it is possible to activate the
battery standby mode.
Activation
1. Switch off engine.
2. Press the red button, then turn key
to position BATT.
The battery goes into standby
mode approx. 7 minutes later. In
this time period the vehicle should
be left and locked by using the
remote control.
Ensure that all vehicle electrical
systems are deactivated.
Caution
When the battery is in standby
mode, the driver's door can only
be unlocked by unlocking the
mechanical lock.
