4 Use, technical specification and technical description of
the machine
4.1 Use of the machine
The mulcher is meant for mowing grass stands of all kinds of stalky grasses, preferrably
old and dry, on both maintained and unkept sites.
The period most suited for the machine use is outside the growing season, i.e. in the
months of March, at the beginning of April and in the period from the end of August to
November. In these periods the stands are usually dry and the mowing knives are capable of
crushing them into small pieces which need not be removed from the surface. The
recommended height for cutting newly grown up stands is up to
40 cm.

Engagement width has to be always accommodated to the density of the mown
stand.
The machine can also be used as a mower for park treatment of grass stands with no high
demands for grass stubble quality (flat terrain, low cut, ruts after machine wheels, etc.)
