CE Marking
One of the marks in the following diagram appears on each of the 650 products that
are ISDN compatible, and the statement that follows explains its significance.
This product is CE marked to indicate compliance with the following European
Directives.
• 73/23/EEC
Low Voltage Directive (Safety)
• 91/263/EEC
Terminal Directive
• 89/336/EEC
EMC Directive
The number 168 in the CE mark indicates the Notified Body granting the approval
under AA607367 and AA607368 (BABT).
German Federal
Approvals Office
ISDN carries the approval mark of the German Federal Approvals Office for
Telecommunications. The approval mark shows the national emblem, the letters
BZT (the Federal Approvals Office letters), and the type approval number
(D130978J) that indicates the type of approval given.
