Installing Software  

Downloading Software Using the Software Loader

Introduction

The Software Loader is part of the Vanguide Application Set and is available on the 
Vanguide 5.1 CD.

Follow These Steps

This table identifies the steps to download CMEM files into a Vanguard 650 Series 
device.

Access the Vanguide Application Manager

Follow these steps to access the Vanguide Application Manager:

Cable a personal computer containing the Vanguide application to the CTP 
port of your 650 Series device to establish a physical connection.

Launch Vanguide from the Program group.

Click on the Vanguide Application Manager icon. The Vanguide 
Application Manager window appears (Figure 3-1).

Once the Application Manager window is displayed you can start device 
configuration, launch the Configuration Loader or Software Loader.
