Modifying Your Vanguard 6435/6455

FLASH SIMM

To Install the Data Compression or

Encryption SIMM:

Push the SIMM into the connector, lining

up the holes with the tab, allowing the metal

clips to hold the SIMM in place.

To Remove the Data Compression or

Encryption SIMM:

Use your fingers to push back the two metal

retaining clips and lift out the SIMM.

To Install the FLASH SIMM:

Insert the SIMM into the connector at a

slight angle, then straighten it and push the

locking tabs through the holes.You will hear

the clips click into place.

To Remove the FLASH SIMM:

Use your fingers to push back the two metal

retaining clips and lift out the SIMM.
