1. Locate the engine dipstick handle [
H
] and
remove.
2. Wipe off the excess oil on the dipstick blade,
and replace the dipstick back into the engine
tube in order to get a clear level reading.
3. Remove the stick again, and observe where
the oil level shows at the gauge-end of the
stick.
The level should be somewhere within the
range shown on the stick [between
J
1
and
J
2
].
If the level shows low, replenish with the same
type of engine oil currently being used to
achieve a satisfactory level, by adding oil at
engine oil fill port [
C
].
If the engine is due for an oil change, or if operating
conditions require more frequent change intervals than
the normal routine maintenance schedule given in this
