Locating Lighting, Operation and
Rating Information Card
The Lighting, Operation and Rating information is locat-
ed on a card at the right hand side of the
fi
replace open-
ing. The card is rolled and attached under the plinth.
To access the card, remove the barrier screen, side
doors and the plinth. Grab the rolled card and pull it out
of its clip. There is important information on both sides
of the card.
Servicing Your Fireplace
If any attention is required for your appliance, contact
your supplier quoting the model number. It will be
helpful if the appliance’s serial number can also
be quoted. This number is on the rating plate. The
replacement parts are shown at the end of this manual.
Please always quote the part number and description
when requesting spare parts.
Operating Your Fireplace
Your
fi
replace is controlled by the Wall Switch.
The Wall Switch can be used to turn on, off and to
increase or decrease the
fl
ame height.

Remove plinth
Remove side doors
Three (3) short ‘beeps’ will sound when the motor turns
when the batteries need to be replaced.
To replace the batteries in the battery box
:
The battery box is located to the right hand side on
the bottom of the appliance behind the front panel. It
is held in place with a piece of
Velcro
.
1. Remove the barrier screen, the side doors and the
plinth. Grab the battery box and pull it out from its
location.
Do not pull the box out by the wire!
2. Disconnect the battery box.
3. Remove the
screw and
slide the
cover off.
4. Replace the batteries with 4 AA
alkaline
batteries
orienting them as indicated inside the holder.
5. Replace the cover and screw in place.
6. Reconnect the battery box.
7. Put the battery box back in its position.
8. Reinstall the plinth, side doors and barrier screen.
The Wall Switch controls your
fi
replace. You can turn the pilot on or
off and you can increase or decrease
the
fl
ame height.
Note that there is no thermostatic
and programming functions with the
wall switch.
