
15.2 Diagnostic messages
The self-diagnostics system of the sensor monitors certain internal measurements and
generates warning and error messages if the measurements exceed the set diagnostic
limit values.
In most cases there are separate limits for warnings and errors. Measurement results
and limits can be seen and adjusted in

Some errors are more critical than others, because they may influence measurement
performance or functionality. These errors have are classified
Failsafe
and they
activates the alarm current. Alarm current configuration is done in

Warning and error signals can also be sent to the PLC/DCS system by using binary
outputs; see

Error messages related to device malfunctions or abnormal operation may also be
caused by internal system monitoring.
