electrician for the safe use and commissioning of
the transport line and read the instructions of the
equipment for correct use.

OPERATING PRINCIPLE
The (four-stroke) engine transmits rotation by
means of mechanical coupling with the alternator.
This generates a certain voltage at its terminals
and therefore the electric control panel sockets.
The electricity produced and its quality depend
on the engine’s power and regularity of operation.
This machine’s standard system must consist of:
generator, generator ground line (by qualified elec-
trician), electric transport line with safety electric
control panel (in compliance with legislation in
force) and compatible electrical load.
INSTALLATION

incorrect installation or electrical connection.

IMPORTANT! Wear protective gloves and
goggles when handling the battery (where fitted),
the fuel and the lubricating oil.
TRANSPORT
Always use the packaging when transporting the
generator; this will protect it from impact, dust and
humidity which can compromise its normal operation.
Before putting it into the packaging it must have
completely cooled to ambient temperature and all
the fuel must have been removed from the tank.
Do not leave the generator or fuel tank inside the
vehicle; fuel vapours can cause an explosion.
HANDLING
The generator must only be moved with the engine
off and the plug(s) disconnected from the electric
control panel.
For moving it hold tightly onto the hand grip and,
after lifting, put it down without banging it.
SWITCHING ON
When choosing where to use the generator, the
following should be considered:
- the floor needs to be flat
- the area must not be damp, must be protected
from atmospheric agents and must not be ex-
posed to direct sunlight
- the area must not be for pedestrian or foot traffic
- there must be a large operating area free from
obstacles, at least 2 metres from all obstacles
- the environment needs to be as open and as well
ventilated as possible to evacuate exhaust gases
dispersed in the air
- there needs to be good lighting
- the ambient temperature needs to be maximum 40°C
- the altitude above sea level must be maximum
1,000 m
- the environment is not in a flammable/explosive
atmosphere
