4.3.12 Pilot Selection
With the system in OFF position press the MODE
Button to index to the CPI (Continuous pilot) mode
icon. Pressing the up arrow button will activate de
CPI. Pressing the down arrow button will return to
IPI (Intermittent pilot). A single beep will confirm
the reception of the command.
Note:
In CPI mode, the pilot will shut off after 7
days if the fireplace has not been lighted once
during this period.

4.3.13 Button Lock
This function will lock the buttons to avoid
unsupervised operation. To activate this function,
press the MODE and UP buttons at the same
time. To deactivate this function, press the MODE
and UP buttons at the same time.

4.3.14 Low Battery Power Detection
The life span of the remote control batteries
depends on various factors: quality of the batteries
used, the number of ignitions of the fireplace, the
number of changes to the room thermostat set
point, etc. When the transmitter batteries are
low, an Icon will appear on the LCD display of the
transmitter before all battery power is lost. When
the batteries are replaced this icon will disappear.

4.3.15 Battery Backup Operation
Install batteries (Pairing the remote step one,
) In case of power loss,
the fireplace will switch to battery mode automatically. The fireplace will operate normally without the
blower or light control when in battery mode.
