Equipment properties
Application
The VRC 430 is a weather compensated controller for
heating and hot water preparation.
"Weather-compensated" means: At low outside
temperatures the VRC 430 provides more heating
output, and at higher outside temperatures lower
heating output. The outside temperature is measured
by a separate sensor, mounted outdoors and
transmitted to the VRC 430.
The room temperature is only dependent upon your
preset values. The influence of the outside
temperature is compensated for.
You can use the VRC 430 to set different room target
temperatures - for different times of the day and for
different days of the week.
In automatic mode, the VRC 430 controls your heating
in accordance with these settings (see Fig. 0.1).
The VRC 430 can be used for setting daily heating
periods for hot water preparation.

The VRC 430 can also be used for the control of the
following accessories:
– Circulation pump for the hot water provision in
combination with a multi-functional module VR 40
– Ventilation unit
– conventional hot water cylinder
– Vaillant layer cylinder actoSTOR
– Second heating circuit using the Vaillant Mixer
Module VR 61
– Solar system using the Vaillant Solar Module VR 68
– Commercially available 230 V components
(e.g. valves, cylinder thermostats)
The VRC 430 can be operated with the Vaillant remote
control VR 81.
The VRC 430 can form part of a new heating and hot
water preparation installation or can also be retro-fitted
into an existing installation. The boiler must have an
eBUS interface.
eBUS is a communication standard for data exchange
between the components of heating technology.
