4.2 Accessories
The following accessories can be installed in addition to
the VRC 430 weather compensator:
Multi-function module VR 40
The multi-function module VR 40 can be used by the
VRC 430 to control a hot water circulation pump.
Mixer module VR 61
The mixer-module VR 61 expands the VRC 430 to a two
heating zone controller.
Solar module VR 68
The solar module VR 68 can be used by the VRC 430 to
control a solar installation.
Control Center VR 65
The Control Center VR 65 can be used by the VR 430
to control commercially-available 230-V components
(e.g. valves, cylinder thermostats).
The Control Center VR 65 cannot be used in
combination with a mixer-module VR 61 or a solar
module VR 68.
Relay box VR 41
Using the relay box VR 41, a 230-V cylinder thermostat
can be incorporated in the control system of the VR 430.
VR 81 remote control device
The remote control VR 81 is recommended if the
VRC 430 is plugged into the boiler, or if the second
heating circuit is to controlled remotely.
The remote control VR 81 permits the setting of the
following parameters:
– Operating mode
– Target room temperature
In addition, the maintenance and fault messages are
given by symbols.
The data interchange is via eBUS line.
h
Note!
If the VRC 430 is installed with accessories,
the instructions of th accessories are to be
observed.
4.3 Installation
location
The VRC 430 should only be installed in dry rooms.
If the control is mounted on the wall, it should be fitted
in such a way that the room temperature is measured
properly; e.g. on an room wall of the main living room at
a height of approx. 1.5 m.
If the room thermostat function is activated, advise the
user that, in the room where the controller is mounted,
all the radiator valves must be fully open.
See Chapter 4.6 for the location of the outside sensor.

Danger!
Voltage carrying connections!
When working in the control cabinet of the
boiler there is a danger to life by electric shock.
Switch the power supply off before working in
the control cabinet and secure against
re-connection.
